KNOWLEDGEWHEELS™ Features

  • Access to topics can be controlled by assessments. Only a subset of topics can be enabled at the start. After exploring that set of topics the student must take an online test and only after getting a passing grade can the student move on to the next set of topics.
  • Students can take advantage of the non-linear course structure. Which means they can explore topics that are of immediate interest or topics on which they need more clarity, keeping familiar topics for later.
  • As a student is exploring a topic by viewing teacher-suggested content, the system can also auto suggest content from the KnowledgeWeb repository based on interest and skill levels.
  • Content providers can use this as their content delivery platform, focusing on creating content rather than on content delivery application development.
KNOWLEDGEWEB™ Features

  • All content from KnowledgeWeb can be attached to KnowledgeWheels, thus providing a rich learning experience with diverse content.
  • A user friendly search system helps you find the right content quickly, without having to spend your precious time searching the web.
  • Academic institutions can build their own repositories with in-house content or content purchased from content providers and use our classification and search system.
  • Surround School has partnered with select content providers whose content is fully integrated into our system and ready to use off the shelf.
  • All content is stored on the cloud, thus saving you investments in hardware and storage software.
KNOWLEDGESHARE™ Features

  • KnowledgeShare is an add-on to KnowledgeWheels that makes social learning a reality.
  • Students can use this application to collaborate on their school projects. A group of students can independently add topics and content as per their areas of expertise.
  • Teachers can evaluate projects online rather than read through printed copies.
  • Academic institutions can share course outlines with each other to share expertise.
  • Independent teachers, coaching classes and other subject matter experts can showcase their expertise.
  • PowerPoint is a wonderful way to make a project presentation. But do you sometimes feel you could change how you navigate through your presentation, depending on the audience interest? You can use KnowledgeWheels as a presentation tool.
KNOWLEDGENET™ Features

  • Don't you sometimes forget what assignments were due tomorrow? Or when studying, do you miss the opportunity to discuss a difficult problem or concept with your class mates? What about sharing events and happenings in and around school so everyone is kept updated?
  • Most schools ban Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and other social networking sites from school computers and even discourage students from using these sites after school hours. The primary reason for this is that while providing an opportunity for networking with friends, these sites create too much of a distraction in the form of trivial posts, videos and games and other such activities.
  • Yet, it cannot be denied that social networking is today an essential part of most of our lives, and by banning all social networking for students schools and teachers may be losing out on an opportunity to engage their students better.
  • Increase teacher, parent and student interaction to discuss academics, students' progress and stay updated on all events and happenins in and around school.
